I don't want to start any arguments, however, I do believe that the greatest moment in movie history occurs when Lliam Neeson rides a "Fire Mare" in one of the greatest movies of all time, KRULL. Yes, this horse flies and flames shoot out from its hooves. During a time of such division in our country, I feel that bringing KRULL back to the big screen would once again bind us all together as humans. Long live Prince Colwyn.
Yours truly,
Gary Gray

Good lord... I rever realized that Liam Neeson was in Krull. Poor guy... his career's been a bit of a downhill run since then, eh?
Oh well, as they say (mostly in Canada): "The flame that burns brightest dies the fastest, especially when you shoot him off of his fire mare, eh?"
Gary Gray,
During a time of such division in our country, I feel that bringing KRULL back to the big screen would once again bind us all together as humans.
Upon further reflection, it occurs to me that Krull itself is much like "the GLAVE" in the movie. It is hidden away for many years until it becomes legendary, and as Ynyr (Freddie Jones, who we all remember from such classics as Dune, Young Sherlock Holmes and Firefox) so sagely tells Prince Colwyn, "Do not use it... until you NEED it."
Boy, do we ever...
to continue your analogy...
ill be sad to see the day when krull is used to defeat evil, only to be lodged in the abdomen of the evil nemesis (modern cinema), never to return again.
and then a cyclops dies.
Wow, maybe I should actually do a post about Krull... imagine the blog traffic I would get!!
...not that I'm a traffic whore or anything like that...
drew, welcome from mastercritic.com btw. Tell all your friends...
Kidding!! Probably!
Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.
Martin Luther King Jr.
Sooo... when most people say that they hate Krull, they're really confusing beauty for ugliness??
Right on, man.
Oh, wait... maybe when people say they LOVE the Saints... they do so because years of Nawlinz' livin' (especially the food) has eaten away at their "vital unity," and they can't see the truth??
Ponderous, man... veeeeeeeery ponderous.
Oh, BTW, hi again Gary. Glad to see you're still reading quality stuff.
