Ann Richards, R.I.P.

I just read over at the New York Times about the passing of former Governor of Texas, Ann Richards.

Thanks to her efforts, the poorest residents of our great state have a reason to go on living, and the political landscape of the entire country will never be quite the same.

Sympathies go out to her children and their families.
